Scientists have unearthed the oldest fossils ever discovered. 3.7 billion years old

Scientists have quite recently uncovered the most seasoned fossils in Greenland rocks that are 3.7 billion years of age.

The newfound fossils are 220 million years more older than any already uncovered fossil evidence.

These recently revealed fossils were found under recently melted perennial snow in southwest Greenland.

The revelation shows that life on different planets was conceivable at the time.

“If we have got life at 3,700 million years on Earth, did it exist on other planets—because Mars, for example, 3,700 million years ago was wet,” Clark Friend, co-researcher in the study.
