An Adobe Photoshop license and a graphics tablet: it’s all that took French director Stéphanie Valentinto offer the character of Mr. Bean (played by the genius Ryan Atkinson) the career he deserves.
From Iron Man to Iron Bean, there’s only one step. Thus, the 62-year-old British actor and comedian takes on the gladiator’s armor and becomes Gladiabean , when he does not steal Hulk’s traits (and become “The Incredible Bean”): far, far away, from the character Emblematic that had pushed up the career of English at the top.
A systematic victim of the vagaries of life and relatively talented to make things simple, very complicated (do not even contemplate sending Mr. Bean to the kitchen, under threat of triggering a devastating fire or, more commonly, risking his asphyxiation Sequences of culinary manipulations related to a chicken turkey …), Mr. Bean is a traveling catastrophe, yes, and a person really touching. The English charm in short, the awkwardness more.
Imagine then, if Atkinson had been the fetish actor of the stuffy studios of the Fox or the Marvel stables, perched above the Hollywood hills, far removed from the London grisaille:
