Batgirl: Joss Whedon does not want a star for the role

Joss Whedon, director of the feature film “Batgirl”, has just indicated not wanting a star to embody the super-heroine.

After rolling for Marvel by realizing Avengers and Avengers: Ultron era, the American Joss Whedon will soon turn Batgirl for the DC Comics team. At Variety’s microphone, the filmmaker spoke of this ambitious project, notably not wanting a star to embody the super-heroine.

 

“I have no views on anyone,” says Joss Whedon on the red carpet of the first of the Galaxy 2 Guardians. “I’m creating this character, I dialogue with her and then we’ll see who joins the project I do not think it’s a big name, we just have to go somewhere, find our Batgirl and cast it, I’m not against the movie stars, it’s great, but we need somebody, One that is just perfect for the role, and in a situation like this, the name of the heroine already has weight, so it’s not as essential. “
